Established in 2018, our goal has always been to make reading accessible to everyone. We believe that everyone deserves the right to easier reading, regardless of any difficulties.
The founders all have professional backgrounds in publishing – from layout, cover design and print, through to marketing, promotion and sales.
Clarity Books originally launched with a set of 20 ‘classic’ titles including The Wind in the Willows, Frankenstein and The Jungle Book. These editions proved very popular, and the company quickly moved onto contemporary mainstream titles, many from recent bestseller charts.
Libraries across the UK and Ireland are starting to build collections to meet the increasing demand for dyslexic friendly books.
We aim to launch a set of titles every month, covering a variety of genres and authors to allow maximum accessibility to as many people as possible.
We have chosen to work with market leaders in typesetting, design and print to ensure we produce books of the highest possible standard, whilst adhering to our ethos of making reading enjoyable for all.
The books have been designed and produced using a bespoke production model specifically aimed at readers with dyslexia and associated conditions.
